The female body is complex and as such you should be heard and not feel rushed during your consultation visit. I believe that making a connection with your gynaecologist is important. A good connection builds trust and trust nurtures openness and increases the likelihood that a given treatment would work.

Evolution of My Practice – From May 11th 2026
After many years of practising medicine within the traditional model, I have come to understand what works well — and what requires improvement — in the care of women transitioning into midlife.
The transition into perimenopause and menopause is not a disease. It is a biological shift. Yet it can profoundly affect sleep, mood, cognition, metabolic health, and professional performance. Medical care must reflect this complexity.
Effective midlife care requires:
- Careful evaluation of symptoms such as sleep disturbance, mood changes, brain fog, and vasomotor symptoms
- Integration of nutrition, movement, stress load, and recovery strategies
- Consideration of professional responsibilities and long-term goals
- Clear interpretation of evidence-based science amidst increasing misinformation
The current media landscape around menopause has amplified both awareness and confusion. My aim is to provide rigorous, science-based guidance tailored to your lived experience — without exaggeration, trend-driven claims, or oversimplification.
The Emergence of ML Brussels
This work has led to the development of Menopause Longevity Brussels (ML Brussels) — a structured, integrated model of midlife medical care.
ML Brussels officially launches on 1 September 2026.
Until then, beginning 11 May 2026, I will implement a structured transition phase: ML Transition.
What ML Transition Includes
- Pre-Visit Questionnaire
A focused intake form to identify symptom patterns and relevant health domains.
- Structured Intake Consultation (30 minutes)
This visit concludes with:
- A short-term personalised symptom management plan
- Lifestyle optimisation strategy
- Preventive screening considerations
- Clear explanation of symptom mechanisms
The goal is understanding: why you feel as you do, and what can be done.
- Fine-Tuning Phase
Two scheduled telephone consultations (2 and 4 weeks) to assess response and adjust treatment.
- Pre-Conclusion Questionnaire
A brief reassessment before the final visit.
- Conclusion Consultation (30 minutes)
Development of a long-term plan integrating:
- Symptom management
- Lifestyle and metabolic health
- Screening strategy
- Supplement guidance where appropriate
- Hormonal or non-hormonal medical treatment
- Alignment with your professional and personal goals
While women experience this life phase differently, one objective remains constant: preserving vitality, cognitive clarity, and physical strength in order to contribute meaningfully to the next stage of life.
ML Transition and ML Brussels represent my commitment to a more deliberate, structured, and evidence-based approach to midlife care for professional women.
This is not a rejection of medicine as it exists.
It is its refinement.
