For more than 25 years, I have been walking the path of acupuncture, guided by the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. My training at the OTCG in Antwerp provided a solid foundation, where I deepened my knowledge not only of acupuncture, but also of nutritional therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and Qigong. The philosophy of yin and yang — in which apparent opposites complement one another and balance arises through movement, rhythm, and equilibrium — remains a central guiding principle in my work.
My desire to truly experience and understand the origins of this ancient body of knowledge led me to China. There, I encountered a form of medicine deeply interwoven with life itself: with nature, the seasons, and the gentle power of attention and presence. This experience continues to inform and shape my practice to this day.
Each encounter reminds me that every person is unique. No body follows the same rhythm, and no healing process unfolds in exactly the same way. Working with energy continues to inspire a sense of wonder in me — listening to what presents itself, following what seeks movement, and creating space for recovery. My approach is holistic, treating body, mind, and spirit as an integrated whole.
Bringing together energetic work and Western medical thinking, in collaboration with a gynaecologist, feels to me like a natural bridge between two worlds. Gynaecology is a particularly meaningful field of practice, where subtle shifts can lead to profound changes and help people reconnect with their inner balance.
Outside my practice, I draw energy from family life, the presence of animals, and working with plants. I return often to the essence of life, where simplicity and connection take center stage. From this place arises a quiet, sustaining force that nourishes both my work and my way of accompanying others.
